Aya Mousawi

Aya Mousawi is a distinguished cultural producer and curator. She has spearheaded globally influential projects. In 2012, she co-founded The Moving Museum, a nomadic social enterprise delivering groundbreaking exhibitions, residencies, publications and public programmes in cities like Dubai, London and Istanbul. As a consultant strategist for Art Basel Cities, she helped launch and programme the inaugural Art Basel Cities House in Buenos Aires. From 2008 to 2011, Aya served as Assistant Curator for Edge of Arabia, introducing contemporary Saudi art to global audiences including at the Venice Biennale.
